I tried a different disposable camera this time as I managed to get my hands on by chance. These are taken with Fujicolor 400 39 Exposure disposable camera (Japan Version). The camera is meant for landscape and not close-ups.
Anyway, still survived with a handful of beautiful heritage architectures of Ipoh.
There are a lot of murals in Ipoh too!
I really love these old vehicles in Malaysia and they are still in working conditions!
Dragon beard candy stall which serves many different variations from the traditional candy.
The famous chicken rice and beansprout restaurant. We were not impressed by the chicken but still good. The best thing got to be the beansprout that is super fat and juicy – yummy!
Here comes the blurry food shots:
I had the Iced Ipoh White Coffee – super good!
Fresh beancurd at Funny Mountain Soya Bean, love it!
We can’t miss durians, this is Malaysia.
My first yong tau foo in assam laksa. I can’t believe how delicious the combination is.
Time to go home after 24 hours – an 8 hour coach ride back to Singapore. Is the ride worth it? If you ask. If you haven’t been to Ipoh, it’s definitely worth a trip. But despite enjoying my time here, I may not visit here again, at least for a period of time because it’s very tiring. I may choose to take a flight instead.
Malaysia is one of my favourite countries because we are so culturally similar and the people here are very warm. We were there over the weekends but there are not many foreign tourists, but quite a number from Penang which is a town 2-hour drive away.
I am sure you’ll enjoy yourself in Ipoh too!
